Discovery Workshop

Best for: Teams starting a data, analytics or AI platform initiative, or reassessing one.

What we cover: Business objectives, current stack, data volumes, performance expectations, security and compliance constraints, support needs and success metrics.

Who should attend: Business sponsor, data/platform architect, security representative, operations lead.

You leave with: A shared problem statement, prioritized use cases, known constraints, candidate routes (partner-led, open-source or combined) and a recommended next step.

Architecture Review

Best for: Existing or planned platforms that need an independent design check before scaling, migrating or going to production.

What we cover: Current or target architecture, component responsibilities, security and trust boundaries, HA/DR design, operations and upgrade practice, cost drivers.

Who should attend: Lead architect, platform/SRE lead, security architect, data engineering lead.

You leave with: An architecture review summary, a risk register and technical recommendations.

Proof-of-Concept Scoping

Best for: Teams that have shortlisted a route and need evidence before committing.

What we cover: The hypothesis to prove, representative workloads and data, success criteria and how to measure them, environment and access, timeline, roles and exit criteria.

Who should attend: Technical owner, data engineers, security/infra contact, business owner for acceptance.

You leave with: A written PoC scope with measurable acceptance criteria, environment prerequisites and a plan.

Enablement Session

Best for: Teams adopting or taking over a platform who need practical, role-based knowledge.

What we cover: Options include developer bootcamps, DBA/SRE handover, architecture training, platform operations drills and migration/playbook workshops.

Who should attend: Developers, analytics engineers, DBAs, SREs and architects, grouped by role.

From Request to Recommendations

  1. Tell us your objectiveUse the request form to share your goal, the technologies involved and who will attend. Do not include credentials, architecture diagrams or sample data in the form.
  2. Scoping callA Bassirah architect confirms the format, agenda, participants, duration and any pre-reading or secure document exchange.
  3. The sessionA working session focused on your environment, remote or on site.
  4. Written follow-upYou receive the agreed outputs for your format and a proposed next step, such as an assessment, PoC, implementation plan or enablement program.

Get More From the Session

  • Your business objective and how you will judge success
  • A high-level view of the current stack and data sources
  • Approximate data volumes, growth and performance expectations
  • Security, compliance and data-residency constraints
  • Who operates the platform today and what support you need
  • Any decisions or deadlines the workshop should inform

Please do not send credentials, detailed architecture diagrams, sample data or personal data through the website form. After scoping, we agree a secure channel for any sensitive material.

Webinars, Training and Regional Events

No public events are scheduled right now.

Private workshops are available on request. Tell us your topic and we will propose a format and timing that suits your team.

Workshop Questions

A discovery or architecture assessment usually defines business objectives, current stack, volumes, performance, security, support needs, constraints and success metrics. Bassirah can then propose an implementation plan or focused proof of concept.

It depends on the format and scope. We agree the duration, agenda and participants with you during a short scoping call before the session.

Yes. Many workshops compare a partner-led route with an independent open-source route, for example Starburst Enterprise and Trino OSS, so you can decide based on your security, connector, operations and commercial requirements.

Both are possible. We confirm the format and location during scoping.

Please do not send credentials, detailed diagrams, sample data or personal data through the website form. We agree a secure channel for sensitive material after scoping.
